Visibility Matters: Connecting with the President

At Lewis & Clark College, the relationships we cultivate within our community are a source of immense pride. These connections are what make our campus vibrant, supportive, and strong. As we continue to strive for a more inclusive and equitable environment, we recognize the importance of making our leadership accessible to everyone. This year, we are pitching a series of events to ensure that President Holmes-Sullivan is more visible and connected with all members of our community.


Monthly Coffee Chats
Join President Holmes-Sullivan for casual Coffee Chats that rotate monthly across the CAS, GSEC, and LAW campuses through out the Fall semester. These informal gatherings offer a relaxed setting where you can drop by, grab a cup of coffee, and chat with Robin about anything on your mind. Whether you want to share ideas, ask questions, or simply say hello, these chats are a great way to connect and engage with the president in a comfortable environment.

Monthly Office Hours
For those seeking a more private conversation, President Holmes-Sullivan’s Monthly Office Hours provide an opportunity to meet one-on-one in her office. Reserve a 20-minute session to discuss matters in more depth—whether it’s a personal concern, a campus issue, or something positive you’d like to share. These sessions are designed to give you space to have a meaningful dialogue with the president in a more private setting.

Monthly Meals at the Bon
Enjoy a meal with President Holmes-Sullivan and her spouse, Kathy Holmes-Sullivan, during the Monthly Meals at the Bon. This is a relaxed and friendly setting where you can “break bread” with the president, engage in light-hearted conversation, and enjoy special seasonal treats. Each lunch will feature a different theme, making every gathering a unique experience.
