HR Revamps Performance Review Process, Emphasizes Forward-Looking Collaborative Approach
The Office of Human Resources is thrilled to announce the launch of a revamped performance review process for staff in Workday, replacing the outdated PDF-based system.
HR’s new approach to performance reviews aims not only to simplify the evaluation process, but also to enhance its effectiveness in driving individual growth and organizational success.
“Whether you have questions about document uploads, understanding the rating scale, or need general assistance with the platform, our HR team will be available to help,” Associate Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer Institutional Helen Howell said. “Your active involvement in this process is vital to fostering a culture of continuous improvement and mutual support within our organization.”
Why Performance Reviews Matter
Performance reviews are crucial for several reasons:
- Feedback and Improvement: They provide a structured opportunity for supervisors and employees to discuss strengths, areas for improvement, and career development goals.
- Alignment with Goals: Reviews align individual achievements with organizational objectives, ensuring everyone is working towards shared goals.
- Recognition and Motivation: Recognizing achievements boosts morale and motivates employees to continue excelling in their roles.
- Professional Development: They help identify training needs and opportunities for skill enhancement, fostering continuous learning.
Key Features of the Performance Review Process
