China Night 2024 welcomes the Lunar New Year
On Monday, February 12th, the Chinese Club hosted the well-loved yearly Lunar New Year Celebration: China Night! Held to celebrate the richness and diversity of Chinese culture, this event offered students and faculty an immersive experience filled with delicious food, traditional performances, and fun celebrations.
The event was held at Bon Appetit, where students feasted on Chinese delicacies. Following dinner, the Lunar New Year was welcomed by the traditional Dragon Dance accompanied by drums. Student performances followed, organized by the Chinese Club as well. Throughout the event, attendees had the opportunity to engage with members of the Chinese Club and learn more about Chinese culture and the significance of the Lunar New Year.
This yearly celebration is one of the most special events organized by the Chinese Club. The World Languages Department congratulates the Chinese Club for its efforts and investment in this special event. We extend our thanks to the Bon Appetit workers for complementing our evening with a delightful meal.
