The Udall Foundation awards scholarships to college sophomores and juniors for leadership, public service, and commitment to issues related to Native American nations or to the environment.
The Udall Scholarship honors the legacies of Morris Udall and Stewart Udall, whose careers had a significant impact on American Indian self-governance, health care, and the stewardship of public lands and natural resources.
Deadline: Students should consult with the campus advisor (see info below) prior to the end of the fall semester. Applications will be due on campus on February 1. (Students selected as campus nominees will need to have letters of recommendation submitted by March 1.) The campus advisor must electronically submit your application and all supporting documents to the Foundation by March 1. Please note that applicants must be U.S. citizens, nationals, or permanent residents.
