Lewis & Clark is in the process of updating systems to be able to collect gender identity.  At this time, students, employees and alumni can indicate a preferred (or chosen) pronoun using the process for chosen name.

Please note: gender identity is not the same as legal sex.  Information about legal sex is still required for certain federal reports and because the college receives Federal Title IV funding.  To change your legal sex:

• Students should refer to the Change of Name and/or Legal Sex web page. 
• Employees should contact HR
• Alumni should contact Institutional Advancement at update@lclark.edu or 503-768-7925 to update alumni records. If you also wish to indicate a chosen name for your student records, please follow the instructions located on the Change of Name and/or Legal Sex web page. (Updating records with the Alumni Office does not automatically update student records)
