Rescission of DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals)
After the September 5th, 2017 memorandum to rescind the DACA program, Interim President David Ellis sent a message to our community in support of Dreamers at Lewis & Clark and beyond. His message, in short, is “that every member of the Lewis & Clark Community is welcome here, and we will do everything within our power to make Lewis & Clark a safe place for all.” (Sept. 8th, 2017). United We Dream seeks to address the inequities and obstacles faced by immigrant youth. They will be consistently generating and updating their list of resources during this transition.
